Course: January 2009

Our first course was a major success! We had students from Hawaii, Laos, Malaysia and Australia. Some of the comments we received from our attendees were:

"It was a privilege to be able to attend and gain insights from such highly respected industry people. I was particularly impressed by the range of presenters. Each was coming to aquaponics from a different point of view, whether that be nutrition, bio remediation or licensing etc. The site tour at the commercial farm was an excellent way for us to reference our learnings. Dr Rakocy is to be commended for his UVI presentation. He presented a great tutorial on the UVI working model with patience and self deprecating good humour. " Darren Scott

"Thank you for the very informative course. I was impressed with the knowledge shared and left for the long drive back to Sydney re-juvenated in what I believe to be an exciting start to Aquaponics in which I have a very keen interest both backyard but more importantly commercial."  Len Dragsund
